If you have spent any time in the gun world you have probably seen it.
This gun is better than that gun. This gun is far superior to that gun. This brand of holster is better than brand x. Kydex is better than leather for holsters. Horsehide is better than cow hide for holsters. 45 ACP is superior to 9x19mm, .308 is better than 5.56mm 30-06 is better than .308, 45-70 is better than 30-06 etc. etc.
In fact one of the best ways to start an argument in any gun shop or gun internet forum is to walk in espouse almost any one of the above opinions and watch the fur fly. We gunnies tend to be an opinionated lot.

So the next time you see someone saying something like: “Buy a Boominschmirtz 2009, it’s all the gun you’ll ever need.” Know that you have encountered a gear snob. The Boominschmirtz 2009 may indeed be a great firearm but is it the gun for you? Only you know.
Next choosing a rifle to fit your needs.
