Thoughts on Women’s rights Gun Control and Rape.

All too often we hear the hoplophobe cry of “if you carry a gun it will be used against you.” While I have little doubt that this does happen on occasion. I am willing to be that the more common occurrence is that the woman prevails and does not have to suffer the indignities of being a rape victim.

In this article titled ” Gun Control: Does the UN Protect Human Rights?” One can read about not only the ineffectiveness of the UN as peacekeepers and guardians of human rights, but how personal arms protect women from the ultimate indignity.

  1. Thanks for your post. I just wrote one about what it means when such brutality is “normalized” by virtue of simply being used on a regular basis…when in fact it ought to be regarded still as beyond the pale. I am providing the link in case you are interested.
